To the Editor:
Like a lot of my friends and neighbors in Darien, I’ve become pretty cynical observing the political scene in America recently. So little gets done.
For me, whom to support comes down to one thing: character. When Democrats had a chance to pass radical gun legislation in the wake of the Newtown tragedy, Dan Malloy instead chose a magnanimous approach, working together with equally courageous Republican leader John McKinney to pass bipartisan gun legislation that has become a model for the country.
That’s a guy I can support. I hope you join me voting to re-elect Gov. Dan Malloy.
