To the editor:

There have been four budget/spending package votes reviewed since 2010. Democratic-led Bridgeport and Stamford voted unanimously in favor of “raids” and “spending adjustments” that reduced transfers from the General Fund to the Special Transportation Fund.

Governor Malloy treats the STF like an ATM for everything but rails! Vote for Tom Foley to stop the “Malloy Maligning of Metro-North” and stop the profligate spending and consistent derailing of funds intended for transportation projects!

The time is now for a Governor who will stand up forFairfield County’s commuters and residents and create change. Tom Foley is that candidate! Doug McKay
