Police responded to the home on Mansfield Avenue and met with a 21-year-old who lives at the home. He told police that there was party going on with between 20 and 25 juveniles, police said. He said that they were all his younger brother's friends, and that he had just returned home 15 to 20 minutes before the officers did and was trying to get the teens to leave.
Officers entered the home to check on the juveniles, but there was nobody inside, according to police. There were numerous open beer cans and pieces of clothing scattered across the back lawn. The parents were notified by the officers that a party had taken place.
Officers met with the younger brother who hosted the party. He admitted to drinking alcohol with his friends, but said he did not know how brought it. He said his friends left when police initially arrived. He was issued an infraction for possession of alcohol by a minor.
