DARIEN, Conn. — The Darien Police Department is once again warning residents of a spate of car break-ins, and reminding everyone to lock their vehicles.
Here are some of the recent break-ins reported, according to police:
- A resident of Sunset Road reported change was stolen from a minivan between 5:30 p.m. March 24 and 9 a.m. March 25. The incident was reported after the resident learned of other break-ins in the area.
- A resident of Fitch Avenue reported nothing was stolen but a car was entered between 6 p.m. March 26 and 8:30 a.m. March 27. The glove box and center console was rifled through.
- A resident of Gracie Lane said a key fob worth $283 was stolen from 2017 Jeep SUV between March 26 and March 28. Vehicle had been left unlocked in the driveway.
