DARIEN, Conn. -- A bowl worth more than $4,000 was reported stolen from a Darien home this past weekend.
The owner of a Dubois Street home reported on Sunday that, during a time when a contractor was working on her home, a bowl of substantial value was taken, police said. The bowl was valued at $4,830, according to police.
The homeowner told officers that nobody else had been in her home during the time the bowl was taken, and that the contractors had been at her home while she was at work, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
