Burglars Hit 17 Unlocked Darien Cars in One Night

DARIEN, Conn. – Seventeen cars were broken into Sunday night in Darien, along with a house and a detached garage, police said.

The burglaries took place on Holly Lane, Edgewood Road, Herman Avenue and Old Parish Road. In all cases, there was no forced entry as the doors had been left unlocked.

Police said that a minimal amount of property was taken. One stolen card was used in the Bronx.

The Darien Police Department’s Detective Division is investigating the break-ins. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Detective Division at 203-662-5330.
