The 2011 Ford Expedition was stolen sometime between 9:30 p.m. Monday, May 11, and 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, police said.

The owners left the car unlocked in their driveway with the key inside, and woke up the next morning to discover that it was missing, police said. There was also a purse containing $400, along with credit cards, inside the car, police said.

On Wednesday, May 13, Darien police were contacted by Bridgeport police, who said they had found the car on Palm Street.

There was no information available as to the condition of the car when it was found, nor whether the purse and money was still inside, police said.
