Employees of Johnny's & Company on Heights Road arrived for work at 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 22, and discovered that cash had been stolen from a locked drawer, police said.
A total of $415 was taken, police said. It appeared that someone had broken in through the front door, as there fresh pry marks on the door frame and some slight damage to the door, police said.
The employees had last been in the barber shop at 7:30 p.m. the night before. Officers canvassed the neighborhood, but no other businesses were broken into, police said.
The detective bureau is currently investigating the case.
