DARIEN, Conn. -- Darien first responders took part in the "Walk A Mile In Her Shoes" event this past weekend to raise awareness and support victims of domestic violence.

The annual event, which was held on Sept. 30, raises awareness and starts a conversation about domestic violence by having men walk a mile in high-heeled shoes.
