Darien Man Charged With Smashing Car Window, Loosening Lug Nuts In NY

HARTSDALE, N.Y. -- A Connecticut man was charged with felony reckless endangerment after smashing a car window and loosening the tires on a vehicle in a Hartsdale parking lot back in March, police said.

Shuichi Kamimura, 48, of Darien, Conn., was arrested on Sunday, Nov. 6, by Greenburgh Police based on a complaint received on Wednesday, March 30, that a red Ford Windstar had its wheel lug nuts loosened and its rear window broken by an unknown person in the parking lot at 381 North Central Ave., in Hartsdale, police said.

Kamimuria also was charged with felony criminal mischief in the case, police said.

He is being held on $5,000 bail at the Westchester County Jail.
