Megan Dey Photography was broken into over the weekend. When the owner arrived Monday morning, she found that somebody had entered through a window and ransacked the office at 975 Boston Post Road.
Thieves took a photo projector worth $1,300, a CD burner worth $300 and an MP3 boombox worth $600. The owner had last been in the office at 1 p.m. March 26. The Kids Care club across the hall from the photo studio had also been entered. The owners, who had last been in the office the evening of March 25, said somebody had gone through their possessions but nothing was missing.
Also from the police blotter:
• An engagement ring was reported stolen Monday. The owner of a three-diamond platinum ring, worth $12,000, last reported seeing the ring two to three weeks ago. When the jewelry box in the top drawer of the dresser was checked Monday, the ring was gone. No other jewelry in the box had been touched.
