DARIEN, Conn. – A Darien teenager could be facing assault charges in connection with his dust-up with a UPS truck driver last week, the DarienTimes.com reported.
Police said the unidentified 15-year-old boy is accused of punching and cursing at the driver, who he claimed had not only disrespected him earlier that day but had threatened him with a knife during the second confrontation, the DarienTimes story said.
Witnesses denied seeing the driver pull any weapons, the DarienTimes reported.
The teen, who has not been charged, was released to the custody of his parents, the DarienTimes reported.
It was not known whether the driver faced any charges, the story said.
