Darien Police Investigate Untimely Death, Find No Criminal Activity

DARIEN, Conn. — Officers investigating an untimely death in town have determined that no criminal act occurred, Darien police said late Tuesday afternoon.

Police were called to 217 Mansfield Ave. at about 5 p.m. Monday, June 19, according to Police Chief Ray Osborne. Officers conducted an untimely death investigation after finding a 51-year-old male resident of the home was deceased, Osborne said. 

An investigation was conducted, and it has been determined that no criminal act occurred, he said. 

No additional investigation is anticipated, and no further information will be released at this time, Osborne said.
