Darien Police Now Trained To Use Narcan

DARIEN, Conn. - This past week, officers in the Darien Police Department were trained in the use of Naloxone, more commonly known as NARCAN, a fast-acting drug used in overdoses, reported the Darien Times.

In the Darien Times, they reported the officers worked with the Darien Emergency Medical Services on how to deploy the opiod antagonist.

Soon, the story said, all police vehicles will have a NARCAN kit in them.
