Police received a report in August that a debit card and other items had been taken from a local business. The debit card was used that day to withdraw several hundred dollars from ATMs at Fairlawn Variety on East Main Street in Stamford and at the Fairfield County Bank on the same street, according to police.

Police have obtained security footage of a man they believe stole the card. The footage shows a thin, muscular black man with a goatee. The man is between 20 and 30 years old and under 6 feet tall, police said.

Anybody with information or who can identify the suspect is asked to contact the Darien Detective Division at 203-662-5330.
