Just before noon on Sunday, the owner of the Lexus reported that her car had been stolen from her driveway overnight. She said that she had both sets of keys, but one may have been stored close enough within her house to unlock and activate the car, police said.

Car burglaries were reported in a couple sections of town this weekend. On Saturday afternoon, residents of Deepwood Road and Hickory Lane reported that their cars had been entered and ransacked overnight. In both cases, the cars had been left unlocked, and nothing appeared to have been taken.

On Sunday afternoon, another resident of Laforge Road reported that their unlocked 2016 BMW had been entered, but nothing appeared to have been taken, police said. Two residents of nearby Thomasina Lane also reported that their unlocked cars had been entered and rifled through overnight, but nothing appeared to have been taken.
