This was the second police response this week at Darien High. On Wednesday, police investigated rumors of a threat found on a bathroom wall that turned out to be false, police said.

School officials had learned of a rumor that a message saying, "Do not come to school on 3/23" had been written on a bathroom boy's bathroom wall. All the bathrooms in the school were searched, but the message was not found anywhere.

Administration and police officials conducted a full investigation into the rumors and interviewed a number of students, but determined that the rumor was unfounded.
