Man Mugged On East Main Street In Stamford Overnight

STAMFORD, Conn. — Two men beat up another man and stole his wallet on East Main Street in Stamford in the early hours of Monday morning, according to the Stamford Advocate.

The man told police that he was walking from the Taco Bell to Culloden Road at around 1 a.m. when the two men appeared behind him, the Stamford Advocate reported. After they demanded money, he trie to defend himself, but they were able to get his wallet and his shoes, according to the Stamford Advocate. His shirt was also ripped in the course of the mugging, the Stamford Advocate reported.

Police told the Stamford Advocate that there were no weapons displayed during the incident, and there were no other descriptions of the suspects available.
