Michael Hudson, 27, who is listed as having addresses at 1632 Reservoir Ave., Bridgeport, and 73 Ferris Ave., Norwalk, was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a gun after police said they found a gun in his parents' residence after his July arrest.
Police requested and received an arrest warrant for the weapon charge. Officers located Hudson in Bridgeport on Tuesday, police said.
His bond was set at $100,000. His next scheduled court date is Jan. 17.
Last spring, officers learned that Hudson was allegedly selling heroin in Darien and Norwalk, according to police reports. Hudson based most of his heroin dealing in and about the Colonial Village housing community in Norwalk, police said at the time of his July arrest.
During the investigation, undercover officers were able to purchase heroin from Hudson, police said. On one occasion, a bag of heroin purchased from Hudson was laced with Fentanyl, police said.
During the operation, surveillance officers saw Hudson leave an apartment in Colonial Village and drive away on a scooter, police said. When Hudson spotted the officers, he turned the scooter around and drove onto the grass, police said. He fled into an apartment at 184 W. Cedar St. with officers in pursuit, police said.
The officers apprehended Hudson after he fled out the apartment’s rear door, police said. A bundle of heroin — 10 bags — was recovered from Hudson, according to police. During the investigation, officers also recovered a loaded 9mm handgun, police said.
Hudson was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of narcotics, possession with intent to sell and interfering with an officer at the time of the July arrest, police said.
Hudson was turned over to the Darien Police Department on the three outstanding sale of narcotics warrants and possession of narcotics, police said. He was held on $150,000 court-set cash bond, police said.
