Norwalk Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Minor After Party

NORWALK, Conn. — Police arrested a Norwalk man on Monday and charged him with sexually assaulting a minor after a party in July, according to the Hour.

Police received a complaint that 41-year-old Guilmar Gonzalez of Lexington Avenue had sexually assaulted a juvenile at a Norwalk residence on July 23, the Hour reported. The complainants told police that Gonzalez had been at a party, and sexually assaulted the juvenile after saying his goodbyes but before leaving the home, according to the Hour.

The Special Victims Unit investigated the complaint and a warrant for Gonzalez's arrest was issued, according to the Hour. He was taken into custody at his work on Monday morning and charged with risk of injury to a minor, unlawful restraint and first-degree sexual assault, the Hour reported. He was held on a $150,000 bond.
