Darien Police received a report of a burglary at a Talmadge Hill Road home on June 25, while the residents were asleep, police said. An iPad, a Tumi work bag and a Louis Vuitton wallet were reported missing from the house, according to the police report.

Investigators identified Sharon Rotunda, 45, of Elmcrest Terrace as a suspect, police said. She denied being involved in the burglary, but some of the stolen items were found in her home, according to police reports. Darien Police filed for an arrest warrant, and she turned herself in on Thursday.

Rotunda was charged with second-degree burglary, fifth-degree larceny and credit card theft. She was then turned over to Stamford Police on a warrant from an unrelated incident. She is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 2.
