DARIEN, Conn. An employee of Palmers Market in Darien was charged with exposing himself to two women in the store, police said.
Santiago Lara, 19, of Norwalk exposed himself to one of the women twice on Sept. 18, police said. While the woman was checking out, police said Lara walked past her and exposed himself. He then walked down an aisle and exposed himself again.
The second woman told police that she was shopping when she saw Lara at the end of an aisle, where he proceeded to expose himself, police said. A store video camera captured the incident, police said. A warrant was issued for his arrest and he turned himself in on Oct 10.
Lara was charged with three counts of public indecency and three counts of disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors . He did not admit to the offenses, police said. He posted a $1,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 19.
