Christina Foley, 32, of Benedict Street, was charged with fifth-degree larceny. She is scheduled to appear in court on June 27, police said.
Officers were called to the Stop & Shop on Kings Highway Cutoff around 6:30 p.m. and arrested Foley, who had filled a cart with $1,220.40 worth of Nexium, Flonase, Prilosec, Nasacort and other drugs, police said.
Police found Foley was wanted on two warrants for failure to appear in court in Norwalk and she was handed over to Norwalk Police Department, where she was held on $28,000 for the warrants and $500 for Saturday’s incident, police said.
