Keith Jamie Reimer was charged with two counts of second-degree harassment. He was unable to post $125,000 bond and went to court Wednesday.

Darien police received a complaint in October from the female resident, who said she had been receiving ongoing harassing phone calls on her cellphone from a blocked number.

She told police that the calls began in September 2013 and that she received about 60 calls from the unknown male caller. The caller would infer that he knew her, that he knew where she was at certain times of the day, and that he would at times ask inappropriate questions, according to police. During one conversation, he asked whether he could meet the victim somewhere, police said.

Through an investigation, the Darien Police Detective Division identified the caller as Reimer and a warrant was issued for his arrest. Upon learning of the warrant, Reimer turned himself in to police on Wednesday.
