Darien officers were called to Person-To-Person on Oct. 26 on reports of a disturbance, police said. Jessica Bocchetta, 21, of Courtland Avenue in Stamford was arguing with staff and claimed to have a gun, according to police reports.

When police arrived Bocchetta was with John Wixson, 44, of Alpine Street in Stamford. Because of the earlier threat, police searched Wixson’s van, which contained three sets of brass knuckles, a BB gun designed to look like a real pistol and an electric stun gun, police said.

Officers also found a small amount of heroin and needles and a device designed to break into parking meters, according to the police report.

Wixson was charged with five counts of having weapons in a motor vehicle, possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia, and possession of burglary tools. He was initially held on $10,000 bond but was eventually released on a promise to appear at the request of the Connecticut Bail Commissioner.

Bocchetta was charged with a breach of the peace and released at the scene on a promise to appear in court. Both are due in court on Nov. 5.
