STAMFORD, Conn. -- Police are looking for a man they say stole a cellphone from a Bank of America branch in Stamford.

The unidentified man, seen on bank security footage wearing a long-sleeved blue shirt, has short, dark hair, a beard and brown eyes.

According to a Facebook post about the man Thursday, the incident occurred Sept. 29 at the bank at 383 W. Main St., police said.

Anyone who spots the man or who knows who he is is asked to call Stamford police at 203-977-4407.
