Thief Makes Off With Cash Box From Darien Pizzeria

DARIEN, Conn. - A thief broke into Heights Pizza in Darien and stole a cash box last week, police said.

The burglary occurred sometime between 10:30 p.m.  Dec. 16 and 6:40 the following morning. The burglar broke out a section of glass in the door and disengaged the lock to gain entry, police said. The cash box that was stolen contained approximately $400.
