Tiffany Necklaces Reported Missing After Darien Car Break-In

DARIEN, Conn. – A pair of Tiffany necklaces were reported stolen from a parked car in Darien last week, according to police reports.

A Mansfield Avenue resident reported the theft on the morning of Nov. 14. The two necklaces were left in a bag on top of the center console of an unlocked car that morning at about 7:45 a.m., the owner told police. When she returned at about 8:45 a.m., the bag was still there but the two pieces of jewelry inside were missing.

The items were described as a diamond necklace with a “J”-shaped pendant, and a similar necklace with a “G”-shaped pendant, according to the police report. The pieces were worth an estimated $2,000 each, the owner told police.
