Two Thieves Smash Window, Grab Cellphones From Norwalk Store

NORWALK, Conn. — Two thieves smashed the front window of an AT&T store, ransacked the store and took more than a dozen cellphones, according to The Hour.

Officers responded at about 1:40 a.m. Saturday to the store at 777 Connecticut Ave., The Hour said.

Displays with models of the new iPhone 8 and Galaxy 8 were smashed, and the models were taken, although it was unclear whether those were working phones, police told The Hour. 

More than a dozen Samsung Galaxies and other phones were stolen from the rear storage room, The Hour said.

Police have video surveillance photos of two suspects clad in all-black with bandanas covering their faces, The Hour said.
