Darien GOP Seeks Volunteers For Housing Authority

DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien Republican Town Committee is looking for candidates interested in serving on the Darien Housing Authority.

The authority owns and operates Old Town Hall Houses and, in addition to owning the land, is a partner in The Heights at Darien.

Ideal candidate backgrounds may include residential property management, housing development, legal and regulatory experience or service on other local boards or commissions.

The authority meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month.

Additional information can be obtained on the town of Darien website at http://www.darien.ct.gov or by contacting the first selectman’s office.

The committee plans to interview individuals during the May and June meetings and will make recommendations to the Board of Selectmen for considerations shortly thereafter.
