Darien Republicans Seek Volunteers For Town Boards

DARIEN, Conn. - To fill vacancies on boards and commissions currently open in the Town of Darien, the Republican Town Committee is looking for volunteers.

There are openings on the Beautification Committee and the EPA. Channel 79 is also looking for help. The Board of Education needs candidates with strong communication and interpersonal skills and knowledge about issues facing Darien schools.

These are just a few examples of openings that exist in Darien, the Republicans said in a press release.

If interested in interviewing for any open positions in town, complete and submit the application on the RTC website (www.darienrtc.com) to Chairman James Palen or the Recruitment Committee (Malcolm Hall/Dawn Crouch) no later than May 1. Candidates must be available to meet with the RTC at its next monthly meeting May 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Darien Town Hall.
