Duff Offers New Method To Send Comments To Metro-North

NORWALK, Conn. -- As part of an effort to foster greater communication between Metro-North Railroad and its customers in Fairfield County, state Sen. Bob Duff (D-Norwalk-Darien) announced that passengers may now relay comments directly to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority through a link on his website.

“With the recent service outages on Metro-North, I have been working with the MTA to foster better communication between the railroad and its customers," Duff said in a statement. "It is important that information flow both ways, not just from Metro-North to passengers but from passengers back to Metro-North as well. I hope this link on my website will help to facilitate that communication and make the process a little bit easier.”

The weblink takes visitors directly to an MTA Customer Information page, with options to email the MTA, call, or send a letter by regular mail. It also offers answers to frequently asked questions.

“Metro-North actively seeks customer feedback and we offer many ways for people to talk to us – in person at the drop-in center in Grand Central, by telephone, by email, by regular mail and at public forums,” Metro-North President Joe Giulietti said in a statement. “Now the people of Darien and Norwalk can communicate with us through a new web link offered by Connecticut State Senator Bob Duff. We look forward to expanded dialogue with our customers and potential customers as Metro-North seeks to improve and expand service on the New Haven Line.”
