Over 120 people were killed in six separate terror attacks in Paris late Friday.
"My thoughts are with the people of France. This cowardly violence will redouble our determination to end terror and extremism," said U.S. Rep. Jim Himes (D-4th District).
"Today's attack in Paris reminds us of the vital need to support vigilant and vigorous national security and defense," said Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.). "My heart goes out to the loved ones of victims in this tragic terrorist attack."
Elizabeth Esty (D-5th District) said, "Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers will continue to be with the French people as they seek to move forward in the wake of such horrific attacks against our humanity. We stand in solidarity with our ally."
U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) is a member of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
“Now is the time for America to stand shoulder to shoulder with France, our unbreakable ally, in this moment of crisis. We know too well the raw, searing amalgam of fear, anger and sorrow that accompany large-scale terrorist attacks, and the thoughts of everyone in Connecticut are with the people of Paris tonight," he said.
"As President Obama stated this evening, the United States stands ready to assist in the effort to bring the perpetrators of this horror to justice.”
