Norwalk Native Says GOP Will Suffer If Trump Runs As Independent

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Norwalk native and former Donald Trump campaign adviser Roger Stone told the Republican Party on Friday that if Trump isn’t able to run fairly that he will run as an Independent and hurt the GOP, according to the Huffington Post.

Stone says that if Trump were to run as an Independent, the Democrats would most likely win and that Republicans are “petrified” of Trump, according to the report.

Stone abruptly left his position as top adviser to Trump's presidential campaign after fallout from comments Trump made about Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly.
