Race For Selectmen Seats Tops The Ballot In Darien

DARIEN, Conn. -- Before you head to your polling place, take a look at the races in Darien and decide how to cast your ballot. 

Darien residents will cast ballots on Tuesday in a number of municipal races. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The top race in Darien this municipal election is the battle for the Board of Selectmen. Republican candidates Gerald Nielsen Jr. and Susan Marks are taking on Democratic candidates Edward Reilly Tierney and Christopher Patrick Hall in that contest. Voters can select any two, but all four are assured spots on the five-member board.

Election Day is Tuesday in Connecticut, with the polls open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
