Berkshire Hathaway Darien Hosts Realtors Summer Kickoff

DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England Properties recently hosted a Summer Kickoff Porch Party and invited all of the Darien brokerages and agents.

Liz Bacon, office manager, and her team invited all to enter samples of their favorite homemade finger foods, which are also featured at many open houses in town.

Celebrity judges Tom Geary, Wilder Gleason and Cathleen Stack attended the party to determine which local brokerage had "game." Entries included Lucille Story’s lemon cake,” Gwen Alexis’ “get your hands off my chocolate chip cookies” and Patty Reis’ “don’t mess with those cupcakes."

Winners were Gwen Alexis, Lucille Story, Patty Reis and Leslie Caruso.

Proceeds from the evening were donated to the Sunshine Kids organization.
