Stamford Lovers Spat Turns Violent

STAMFORD, Conn. – A 25-year-old Stamford woman was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with stabbing her girlfriend with a kitchen knife, Stamford Police report. The suspect accused the victim of infidelity, and an argument escalated to the stabbing, police said.

The victim ran into the bedroom of their apartment, locked the door and called police. She was found bleeding from the left upper arm. She told police the suspect had left the apartment and gone to the La Quinta Hotel in Stamford with her two children.

Officers found Latrice Arnold, 25, in the lobby of the hotel. She was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, carrying a dangerous weapon, disorderly conduct, two counts of risk of injury to a child and violation of a protective order, police said. The order had been issued to keep Arnold away from the victim, police said.

? Michael Gencarelli, 20, of Darien was arrested Wednesday for an incident that took place in August, police said. He was charged with second-degree assault and conspiracy to commit a crime.

? Jean Christopher Jean-Pierre, 27, of Wheatley, N.Y., was arrested Wednesday and charged with three counts of evading responsibility for property damage/injury, police said.

? Donald Irving Thigpen, 33, of Stamford was arrested for violating a protective order on Wednesday, police said.
