SLEEPY HOLLOW, N.Y. The Sleepy Hollow recreation department is making it a little easier to get a letter to Santa in time for Christmas. The department's annual Santa's Mailbox will deliver letters from kids to Santa and make sure they get a response from Old St. Nick himself.
Children can drop off their letters to Santa at the special Santa mailbox at the Sleepy Hollow Post Office beginning Dec. 1.
The deadline to mail letters is Dec. 21. The recreation department asks that return addresses be included on letters.
