Michael Morales, 31, of Cape May Court House, and Nelson Otero, 31, of Heislerville, were charged with the distribution of controlled dangerous substances and money laundering among other charges.
On Tuesday, Aug. 29, authorities executed court-authorized search warrants on the residences and vehicles of Morales and Otero, according to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland.
As a result of these searches, Trenbolone Acetate, Testosterone Cypionate, approximately 800 bags of suspected heroin, over one-half ounce of suspected cocaine, packaging materials, multiple digital scales, and more than $13,000 cash were seized, the prosecutor said.
Additionally, two shotguns were seized from Otero’s residence.
The analysis of the suspected heroin conducted by the Cape May County Forensic Laboratory was positive for Fentanyl, Xylazine, and Amitraz.
Weapons charges are also pending for Otero because of the firearms seized.
