Jackson Township Crack Dealer Found With Guns, Drugs: Police

A Jackson Township man was charged in an investigation into crack cocaine sold in Ocean County, authorities said.

Justin Love, 25, was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 14 after police searched a home and his vehicle, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced on Thursday, Feb. 15. His arrest came after a two-month-long investigation.

U.S. Marshals, state police, and several township police departments began surveillance on Love in December 2023. Investigators said Love was using a home on Deer Path in Lakewood to store and sell crack cocaine.

Lakewood Township police searched the home and seized 15 grams of crack cocaine, a semi-automatic handgun, drug paraphernalia, and about $5,000. They also found more crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, and cash in his vehicle.

Love was charged with possession of less than one half-ounce of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of crack cocaine, possession of oxycodone without a valid prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a handgun, and possession of a weapon during a controlled dangerous substance offense.

Love was being held at the Ocean County Jail.
