Animal Embassy Visits Royle Elementary School In Darien

DARIEN, Conn. -- The children at Royle Elementary School in Darien enjoyed a visit last week from Animal Embassy's Chris Evers, who introduced them to an amazing and unusual selection of animals.

Some of the children were lucky enough to handle the animals that Evers brought with him, which included a Eurasian Eagle Owl named Tiaga, a pair of chinchillas and a huge tortoise. 

Evers spoke to the children about the importance of being kind and respectful around the animals, just as they would be towards one another, and addressed issues of friendship and bullying in his talk
