Senior citizens at Atria Darien and Royle students, families, teachers and staff members, had a goal of reading 350,000 minutes between Oct. 1 and 14. The fundraiser, in its second year, raised $25,000 for special enrichment programs at Royle.

“This is such a wonderful program to have here at Atria,” said Becky Gallucci, engage life director at Atria, in a press release.

“Our residents love working with the students for such a worthwhile goal.”
