The CP Kids Early Childhood Center will add two more classrooms in September to expand to a total of nine classrooms – three preschool, four toddler and two baby rooms, according to a press release. The program is a fully licensed early learning center for children ages 3 months to 5 years. It is open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.

The program has a “fully integrated and stimulating learning environment” within the school for students to use Chelsea Piers’ athletic facilities, including a warm-water training pool and Splash Zone, a mini-turf field, gymnastics facilities and the Little Athletes Adventure Center.

In addition, Chelsea Piers will also add several new Little Athletes Sports Programs. The program offers instructional programs in swimming, gymnastics, soccer, ice skating, tennis, squash, tee ball and lacrosse. In the fall, the program will add a multi-sport program called Little Athletes University, a two-hour, 17-week program for children ages 2½ years to 4½ years.

Little athletes will participate in one to two different sports per week with a focus on developing motor skills, muscle movement patters, balance and coordination, the release said.
