The salutatorian is Cameron Van de Graaf, and the valedictorian is Catherine Lacy.
The ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. on the Darien High School stadium field, weather permitting. No tickets will be needed, and seating is unlimited.
Gates will open at 4 p.m. and seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Graduating seniors should report to the South Gym at 4 p.m. for robing and final preparations.
If there is rain, the graduation will be moved indoors to the auditorium, and an announcement will be made on the school website by noon Wednesday. In the event of inclement weather, seating will be by rain ticket only. Each student has received two tickets by mail. The ceremony will also be broadcast live in the gymnasium, where there is ample overflow seating available and no tickets are required.
Guests should bring a cold water bottle to the ceremony, as it can get warm in the stadium. Graduating seniors will be provided a water bottle at their seats. Spectators are asked to exercise restraint and avoid loud or lengthy demonstrations of exuberance for one graduate. Do not hang any banners or posters in the stadium before graduation.
A professional photographer will be at the ceremony, and will make photos available online a few days after the ceremony.
Traffic and parking will be controlled by the Darien Police Department. All traffic must enter via Noroton Avenue, as High School Lane and Nutmeg Lane will be closed. Parking will be tight, so attendees should budget extra time and carpool if possible.
A reception will be held for all graduates, families and guests in the main cafeteria immediately after the ceremony.
