DARIEN, Conn. -- Exam time can be crunch time for any student. In an effort to help students at Darien High School, the Darien Public Library has extended its hours to add study time for midterm exams.
On Jan. 14, 18, 19 and 20, the Darien Library will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Various exercises such as yoga and meditation will also be offered for teens throughout the week. Also, Ozzy the Therapy dog will be making a visit to help the students de-stress.
Visit www.darienlibrary.org/midterms for a complete listing of programs. The library offers many resources to students, including spaces for quiet and group study, school supplies, and power cords. Librarians are also on hand to answer reference questions in person, by IM, email or phone. Study Rooms may be reserved one month in advance in two-hour increments.
Reservations will be held for 15 minutes before rooms are made available to others who are waiting. To reserve a study room, contact AskUs@darienlibrary.org or call 203.669.5236.
