Darien Library Patrons Encourage Sanity, Smarts For High School Midterms

DARIEN, Conn. — If you’re a Darien High School student looking for a bit of encouragement during midterms, look no farther than the Darien Library.

Patrons at Darien Library wrote words of encouragement on sticky notes for Darien High School students studying for midterms. The notes are located on a glass window on the library's first floor.

The same window that housed a sticky note display in December now offers words of encouragement from library patrons.

Notes ran the gamut from the comedic — “May the force ever be in your favor” — to the practical — “You can do it! Just breathe.”

And, if you get a little too frustrated, keep in mind the advice from one of the sticky note authors: “It’s OK to scream sometimes.”
