Darien Music Department Presents Evening Of Sweet Jazz

DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien High School and Middlesex Middle School Jazz Ensembles and the Grade 5-6 Jazz Lab will present their annual “Evening of Sweet Jazz” fundraising performance event Thursday, Feb. 11 at St. John’s Blanchard Hall in Darien.

All are invited to enjoy an assortment of desserts, coffee, beverages, a raffle for an acoustic guitar package and lesson donated by Crescendo Music, as well as some exciting jazz performances.

Tickets for adults are $15 in advance or $20 at the door; tickets for students and seniors cost $10 in advance or $15 at the door. All proceeds will go toward band and jazz ensemble student activities.

To purchase advance tickets, please make checks out to “DHS Band” and return to Reva Corrigan, 1 Denhurst Place, Darien. You will receive confirmation by e-mail. No tickets will be issued but a reservation list will be maintained at the door.

The concert starts at 7 p.m.

St. John’s Blanchard Hall is at 1986 Post Road, Darien.
