DARIEN, Conn. -- Students from Darien's Royle Elementary School recently helped decorate Holiday Hope Chests for foster children in Bridgeport.

The students of all ages helped decorate the packages on Dec. 11. Participants in the Royle School Kids Care Club turned shoe boxes into fanciful gift boxes filled with holiday presents such as card games, LEGOs and art supplies. The boxes will be distributed to children in need by Bridgeport Social Services.
