Himes Talks Immigration With Darien Students

DARIEN, Conn. – U.S. Rep. Jim Himes stopped by Middlesex Middle School on Tuesday to talk about immigration with seventh-graders. Himes explained to the students how immigration has been a complex and controversial topic for communities as well as lawmakers in Washington, D.C. The students have been studying immigration as part of their social studies curriculum and had many questions and comments on the topic.
