Holmes Gymnasium Turns Into Children's Museum For STEM Event In Darien

DARIEN, Conn. -- Holmes School fourth- graders from Miss Satter's class enjoyed a visit from Mobile Ed's STEM Museum, a workshop that turns a school gymnasium into a state-of-the-art children's museum focused on STEM: Science, technology, engineering and math.

Students explored hands-on science activities including building a parabolic arch out of foam blocks and learning how this incredibly strong structure functions in the process.
